Hey probably Don't rember me I played from time to time at the old field. any how was going to go to the game coming up and was going to bring like 10 people with me. just wanted to give a heads up if you guys needed to bring extra paint. And if any one has one or 2 guns/ masks they can lend out that would help. Most of the people have played in the past but will be sporting some new players so please help me make them feel welcome I know sometimes people get a little to competitive and rune it for some new players. Thanks for listening Sincerly
Jason

I need it from everyone that has not filed one out this year 2009.
Let me see the mine sounds cool. will it trip ya or just pull a pin?

Usually its okay to use a tripwire mine if it is tripped by a thread. Anything thicker than regular sewing-type thread would trip someone if the pin failed to release and that would be bad. But most commercially made paintball landmines will work great with just a thread so you're probably okay.

I was going to say you can't set it up on the speedball field but, if you pull that off, I say more power to ya. Very Happy

For the price, I would get a couple of these instead http://www.masterblasterpaintball.com/product_info.php?cPath=4&products_id=3 . Or just build some like I did.

Love it. I'd eventually like to see BWR field a team for an SPPL tournament, and mines are allowed there, so a nice high quality mine like that in the field just helps us train. Should work GREAT with just thread. You might have to trim the top of the cotter pin off if it's too tight. And Billy, bring yours out too. A few mines would be a lot of fun for a predator or defenders.
